Alien Abduction Escape

Alien Abduction Escape is a Honors Project I made for CAS 117 using my original Alien Assault Rush game as its base, as well as MSU's 2D Platformer assets. For this project, I had to heavily expand upon a game I had created. So, I added 4 new levels, a new jumping powerup/mechanic, and a secret ending. The new jumping allows for more depth of level design and was able to let me be more creative with less space. This honors project was the largest project I have had the chance to work on so far, and currently, I feel it is my best game.

Inspiration

This game was inspired by Celeste, a game that I had played recently and had a multi-jump mechanic. While the first half of the game isn't much different from my original game, The second half features a similar jump mechanic that I felt was a lot of fun in celeste and thought would work in my game
