The Queen's Nest

The Queen's Nest is a 2D Platformer made for CAS 117 that uses MSU's assets as its base. In creating this game, I had to add 3 significant modifications to it and decided to add a new level, lava, and a new enemy. The new level is very large and unique with a lot of enemies and custom bridges. The bridges go over the new lava asset, which will immediately kill the player if they happen to fall into it. This is complemented quite well with the new WizardWorm which doesn't do damage but can teleport the player. If the player isn't careful to kill them before approaching, they can teleport the player off the ledge and into the lava. Do you have what it takes to get to the Queen?

Inspiration

This game was inspired from me trying to program new ideas that I don't know how to code yet. I wanted to add a knockback feature to this game but couldn't figure out how to do so, but instead I accidentally figured out how to teleport the player on contact to an enemy. So, I used what I could get and made the WizardWorm! It works perfectly for a level that I also added thin bridges and lava too. Improvise! Overcome! Adapt!
