Underpaid

Underpaid is the second group project that I've collaborated on and is the most complete and ambitious project I've had the pleasure to work on as well. In Underpaid, you play as Mark Hall, an IT guy who has to enter each of his eccentric co-worker's computers and fix the viruses within them, which are them with the genre of media they love. This game is really fun and full of good jokes and fun spoofs on popular characters and is the game I am the proudest of.

Raft Fighter

Raft Fighter is the first game I made in a group setting. In Raft Fighter you play as a pirate that fights through waves of enemies on water and on land in order to get home. It is a "bullet-hell" style game and is quite challenging. For this project, I took on the role of being both a programmer and a game designer, as well as learning how to and making all the music in this game.

Alien Abduction Escape

Alien Abduction Escape is the last game I created in my first unity course. It uses MSU's 2D Platformer base, as well as including the majority of my other game Alien Assault Rush. For an honors project, I had to expand on my current games, so I added multiple levels, new mechanics, and more! Do you have what it takes to win?

MSPaint Blaster

MSPaint Blaster is my first game made for CAS 117. It uses MSU's 2D Shooter tutorials and assets as its base but is expanded on with levels, sound, and art by me. This game was inspired by meme culture and I thought it would be very funny to make these alterations to the base game, as well as still having it be a pretty significant change to the game. In MSPaint Blaster, the player works their way through 5 levels of killing different sorts of aliens in a very "meme-y" setting of the Microsoft Paint world.

Alien Assault Rush

Alien Assault Rush is my second game made for CAS 117. It uses MSU's 2D Platformer tutorials and assets as its base but is expanded on with levels and assets created by me. In Alien Assault Rush, the player takes the role of an astronaut that had their ship taken over. The player must navigate through the ship, defeated any aliens in their way, kill the leader of the aliens and escape.

The Queen's Nest

The Queen's Nest is my third game made for CAS 117. It uses MSU's 3D Shooter tutorials and assets as its base but is expanded on with a new level as well as new assets created by me. In The Queen's Nest, the player takes upon the role of a gunner that has to make their way through 3 levels in order to fight and defeat the Queen. Along the way there are many different enemy types and unique terrain to traverse.

S.P.A.C.E. Training Program

S.P.A.C.E. Training Program is my third game made for CAS 117. It uses MSU's 3D Shooter tutorials and assets as its base but is expanded on with an all original level, as well as a new jump mechanic and a timer. It is a parkour course for the player to beat. Can you get the fastest time?

Pokémon Battle

Pokémon Battle is inspired from the battle system in the Pokémon franchise with a small overworld and story included along side it. This game is kind of my origin story for making games and is the first complete game I put a lot of time into. It follows the player as you catch your first Pokémon and use it to traverse the overworld to collect 4 badges. Do you have what it takes to beat Pokémon Battle?
